Before you can troubleshoot your power brick, you first need
to determine what type you have. If you haven’t done so already, go find the technical manual and
schematic package for your game. The tech manual should specify what type
of brick you have. If you’re still not sure or if you have a brick and not the
game you can identify your power brick by the part number printed on the side
of the transformer. For some reason Atari didn’t print or stamp the actual
power brick part number on the power brick. Instead you have to cross-reference
the transformer part number to find the power brick part number. Use the table
below to figure out which power brick you have.

Once you’ve discovered which power brick you have and you
have the correct schematics, next step is to do some basic troubleshooting.
Keep your schematics handy to refer to so you can follow along.
